The GRC Group’s Mission

To utilize research, education, recognition, and guidance in order to empower professionals and businesses to achieve best practices in the fields of governance, risk management, and compliance.

The GRC Group’s Vision

The GRC Group recognizes that the success of market capitalism is built upon a foundation of stakeholder trust. That trust is garnered through the integrity, accuracy, and accountability that come from implementing best practices in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC). When GRC principles are embraced by the leadership of an organization and GRC practices are fully integrated throughout an enterprise, company objectives and goals are more readily realized. As a result, stakeholders at every level are well served.

Against this philosophical backdrop, we witness a stream of new regulations and statutes, emerging technologies, and ever-evolving best practices in the GRC arena. It is our intent that the GRC Group leverages its expertise to help GRC professionals properly interpret laws and regulations, understand supporting technologies, and adopt best practices. We accomplish this through developing training materials, conducting research, providing enterprise-wide guidance, and disseminating information in a variety of formats to our members, our subscribers, and other GRC professionals. It is our intent that the GRC Group offers the most comprehensive knowledge repository available in governance, risk management, and compliance.

We acknowledge that mastery of GRC best practices can be subject to interpretation. This is why it is our intent that the GRC Group acts as a leader in setting proficiency benchmarks and in recognizing the knowledge of GRC professionals through our certification programs. In doing so, we ultimately contribute to the integrity, accuracy, and accountability of enterprises, which in turn builds stakeholder trust and supports market capitalism.
