How the Process Works
Once nominations close on March 31, 2010, the GRC Group will review all nominations and select five finalists for each category. The five finalists will be selected based upon their contributions to their companies’ efforts in establishing, implementing, or maintaining strong governance, risk management, or compliance programs during the 2009 calendar year, as well as for being stellar role models for their peers.
Beginning April 15, 2010, GRC Group members will have the opportunity to vote for one award recipient in each category. Voting will close on April 30, 2010. The recipients of the GRC MVP Awards will be announced in early May.
During the spring and summer, webinars will be scheduled with each of the GRC MVP recipients who wishes to participate.
Please note that the deadline for submitting nominations is March 31, 2010, and that officers of the GRC Group/SOX Institute and their immediate family members aren't eligible for nomination.
